Biography
Albert Loeschhorn was a German composer and piano pedagogue of the nineteenth century, best known for his educational piano works. While he did not seek the spotlight of the great virtuosos of his time, he devoted much of his career to teaching and composing studies designed to develop technique and musicality in young pianists. His works reflect a clear pedagogical purpose, combining technical progression with a refined Romantic sensibility.
